[WIP] The Toll game project

The Toll is an upcoming Dark Fantasy role playing game developed by young indie team and gamedev interns from "Polygon Game Lab". Long time ago Demons split this world among themselves. Every year they come here for The Reaping. People's life is hopeless and hollow, for they cannot leave their motherland and they live in dread of the upcoming Reaping. Everyone knows that if a Demon doesn’t like the toll, hundreds of innocent people would randomly fall prey to his anger. 

However, for some other people it’s different. Their Demon once rejected the toll, and the next year he didn't show up for the Reaping. And so they became the Liberated. The main character of the game is a battle-seasoned mage. He's traveling around the world in search of those, who are ready to cast off the shackles of slavery and join the Liberated. But what is his ultimate goal?
