Like many others I have become very enamored by Overwatch both aesthetically and the addicting game itself. My favorite character is Symmetra so I wanted to do some kind of fan art, I did not simply want to recreate her though. What I came up with was a male version of her (
this is her original incarnation for those who don't know) that still retains most of the bigger forms and overall slenderness with some changes to better fit a male character.
As for style, I am going to go for as much as an authentic Overwatch-style as possible.

I have been struggling to make the face more Indian, I think I am getting there but if anyone has any quick tips how to make him really read as Indian I would appreciate that!
Modelled the Photon Projector. Thinking about doing her whole kit for the final presentation but I don't wanna bloat the project so we will have to see how that goes.
Did some quick experimentation with some hairstyles. Since I added the sherwani 'flap' in the back I think that 2 may be the best fit but I would love to hear some inputs. I really like 4 but it really reads as female and gives me weird Valkyrie Profile flashbacks :P
Just quickly knocking these out so I don't have to when I do the set dressing later.
As for the hair I think either 2 or 4 work, 4 is especially cool and you should totally go with that!

Of course proportions will change when translate to 3D but this is what I am working with right now.

I need to step up my game.
Addressed some final issues I had myself and when it comes to the design. Giving him shorts helps break up the bottom part and the knee guards adds something different compared to Symmetra.
So I decided to finish up this boi. Texturing is still WIP.
