Sorry if this has already been asked, I couldn't find anything on why/how to do this stuff. And sorry if my english is bad!

So I have this tool, wich is a sword from Adventure Time. I'm a newbie, I did some lowpoly parts with blender, exported them in .obj format, and then imported them to ZBrush and done some detail.
The problem now, is that I can't seem to find a way to align a subtool, to be perfectly symmetric by the z axis. I want this (well it's a basic thing to want) because when I have Symmetry activated, the changes I do on one side are not the same on the other because of this misalignment.
The only thing I came up with, would be to Delete by Symmetry, and then Mirror and Weld. But I can't get the second step going, because ZBrush crashes as soon as I delete by symmetry. And this happens ALL THE TIME! I don't know how to do fix this, maybe I should reinstall the software.

But anyway, I'll leave a photo to show what my problem is:

Don't be hard on me, I'm really new to all of this!
Thanks in advance!
