Hi everyone. I'm just a hobbyist and new to Polycount. I've participated in a few other contests before on other sites, so I thought I'd give this one a try.
I got my idea from a statue on my desk at work. I'm an English teacher living in China and I've received a "Best Teacher" award several years in a row. However, the award is more based on office politics and business contribution than actual teaching skill. So there have been better and harder working teachers that got passed up for the award in favor of me.
The statue looks something like this:
My idea is this. The video will start with a model of the statue. From inside the statue (either breaking through or by the statue dissolving), an emaciated and fracture soul will emerge.
That's the basic concept.
