Having done various animations these past two months I thought I'd do something different. I used Maya, Arnold and Photoshop to create the scene.

Development

Scene

After having built the model early last year I was able to focus on the environment, the grass was made with painteffects and was build around the tanks.


Environment set up

I explored the visor menu and found a variety of 3d/2d cloud systems as well as dynamic dense fog etc. I then had the procedure of adjusting settings and positions until I was ready to render.

Base render

After being satisfied I then rendered out the scene, I had originally planned to use substance painter however the model wasn't suitible.

Photoshop Dev to final publish


I decided then the best way was to finish the scene in Photoshop using paintbrushes and adjusting various settings.
