Its looking nice, concrete can be difficult to sculpt, but the rougher break-aways are looking pretty convincing. I'm a little unsure if the interior pillar is supposed to be the same material (concrete) because it seems to be broken away so cleanly around it. The cracks are really nice, if a bit heavy on the "horizontal" side. Its making the material read as soft and wrinkly to me. Overall good job!
cheers splicer much appreciated!! hmm_rock thanks for the compliments on the sculpt, yeah maybe the middle bit should be more smashed in as it has taken some serious damage to get in to that state. Yes I agree concrete/rock/stone is difficult to sculpt, you are looking at years of practise, I take your point on the horizontals I think the lines look cool and add character though so I am tempted to keep them for now, maybe I will reduce the amount and depth of a few of them. thanks again for comments. tightening the edges on the cracks of the concrete.
started to add more sharpness to the damage, increased the resolution of the high sculpt. Adding more damge into the concrete in between the rebar.
latest sculpt in substance painter. more damage now, need to add rebar back in and export to unreal.
render of sculpt from zbrush
new screens from unreal
a few other angles
