Optimizing Aprilia Bike Model

This Bike Model is currently being used in a mobile game, I need to optimize the file and wanted to find out what the best way to go about doing that it. The current size of the FBX file is 3.31 mb and contains 4 models and 7 joints. The highest poly model is 10,000 polygons and the other 3 are LODs, so they dont have quite as much polygons. Originally I thought that retopologizng the 10,000 poly model would be a good way to reduce the file size, but as I started to retopo (using quad draw in maya) I realized that it is very hard to reduce the polycount without losing the curvature of the model. I am hoping someone can tell me the best way to go about optimizing this model, the goal is to cut the FBX file size in half.

Depends a bit on from what angles the bike will be seen, but i would start with these areas for minimal loss of silhouette. Also take a look on those small details (brakes etc.) and check if you could reduce them further (use planes or three sided cylinders instead of cubes, check if parts can be merged to one cube) as even with this resolution those tris are hard to see. And for the cylinders in fork and exhaust, try lowering the number of sides as far as you can.
