so, i don't know if i'am the only one, but whenever i need to think about something, or iam reading something i tend to play with this disfigured and maimed thing (yep, i cut off one end out of boredom)
this thing has survived several years of heavy abuse

anyone else with similar habbits, or am i the only weird one here ?

I always think better if I have a pen to fidget with. I always have one or two sitting on my keyboard above the F keys for that exact reason, both at work and at home.
Same. Or sometimes it's gently fondling my Razor Naga...
Also I keep those little hand-grip exercise things on my desk to fiddle with. I end up chewing the handles mostly. I've gotten better about it recently, but I'm really bad about chewing on anything plastic or rubber, from wacom pens to a lightweight keyboard.
I spin my pen through my fingers a lot, or drum with it on my thighs.
i'am really trying to visualize how someone would chew on a keyboard
Baoding balls, you rotate them in the palm of your hand and they make a little jingle, works for me.
