I've searched around for an fix to my problem, but I cant seem to find anything. When I bake my normal map, it appears as if the lines from my low poly mesh are visable in the map http://imgur.com/a/VSylH Any idea of what could be causing this?
This is an ok error to have. If you bake at a higher resolution you can reduce that error but that's not really necessary. You should pull the camera back to the distance a player would see it and look at it again...ask yourself, will this even be remotely visible? Especially w/ a material applied? Also, I would never use 3dsmax to preview your normal maps, they don't have a competent viewport that simulates a proper game engine. Use Unreal Engine 4, Toolbag2, Unity, etc to view your normal map.

My two cents: I think the cage is capturing other geometry. I can say that because of that artifact on the right.
Can you attach an image of your cage with the low and the high poly, especially focusing on that area?
The borders as i see them are actually fine, what are the issues you see?
