Hi!
Im in the process of learning 3ds max and im doing a digital tutors tutorial. The problem is, the hose that im currently modelling (see the picture) is using a path modifier linked to the blue line, but the result, as you can see, is very abstract, and the hose is not following the selected path at all. This are the thing i have tried thus far:
- Used path modifier
- Pressed "Pick path" and linked it to the blue line
- Pressed "Move to path
- Tried different axis options in parameters, Z, X, Y
- Deactivated selection tools on the editable poly
- Pressed "show end result" on both modifiers; editable poly and path
- Remade the hose and tried again
- Remade the path and tried again
- Restarted the program and tried again
None of these actions seem to have worked, the hose looks just as deformed and wierd as earlier. I would be deeply thankful to anyone that would take time to help me out of this nightmare.

That's a strange result. What steps did you use to create the hose mesh? What steps did you use to create the path?
Also, have you tried Reset Xform on both?
The hose itself i created by making a long cylinder, converted it to an editable poly, added about 20 columns on it using "connect". I marked every other face, extuded it inwards.
I tried the "reset xform" on both objects, but im not really sure what it is or how to use it. But after pressing reset xform with the objects marked one at a time, nothing happened.
