WIP Pixel Art Character (Crits needed)

Hi, everyone!
I'm looking for critique on the below character I've started working on.

I'm pretty happy with what I've done so far but I want to take him further!

Any and all crits are very welcome! I'm looking for ideas on how to do the side views since those are the ones I'm the least satisfied with.

I'm thinking of him as a post apocalyptic mechanic.

These are looking pretty solid, man! One thing that I'd consider is making sure to put him in the environment and make sure his legs and thinner limbs stand out since they're pretty thin. Just keep an eye on value/color in that regard! Keep going!

I'm trying things to get the side views looking good as well, but I think everthing I do makes him feel flat and boring. Any critique or tips regarding that?
I'm on vacation at the moment (left my laptop at home) but will continue my progress late august. Will try to get a nice looking enviroment for him
