So i'm trying to make some curtains in marvelous designer and after following some tutorials, i found that my simulation looks like shit. I'm sure it has something to do with the subdivision but i can't find how to increase it, but then i noticed in a tutorial someone talking about particle distance and how it can affect the quality of the simulation, yet even after decreasing it, though the simulation gets slower, my curtain still looks no where near the ones on the tutorials, which were done with the default value of 20 in P.D.

So it's dependant of the size of your object. Maybe the guy on the tutorial made a bigger curtain, so it looks more defined
Lower distance to gain more definition (and longer calculations).
Thanks dude, that was exactly the problem, apparently my avatar mesh which i imported from max was to small for me to base my curtain measurements on.
