Hello dear Polycounters
I am creating a landscape, I have a good idea of how the design to be.
I have tried to work with world machine but as is the first time I use it I have some difficult to obtain the result I want.
So I said hey, why not work with zbrush first and I get a pretty good result for now ^^, in the general shape not in the details yet.
I exported the height map to WM but I still doesn't arrive to something I like, I need to try again I guess; or I wondering if I could make all the details directly in zbrush, is maybe more longer but also more fun and I could do what I want.
For the moment I export an alpha grabbing doc, from zbrush and import to the unreal engine landscape and it's work pretty well.
Anyway is just the start, if you have advice and workflow to share I am curious, looking also for your C&Cs.
I will now define more the big details.
Thanks

I post the mask I used and my progress render with unreal, is still a work in progress so I would be happy to hear about your throughs on this.
Thanks
I got black edge here while I took hi-res screenshot from unreal I don't understand why, maybe because the distance are very far ?!
Here the height map I used
