So...the "hack" is to already have a mesh with decent topology to project? About as much help as a cooking show pulling out a finished pie, without telling you anything about the ingredients or process behind it.
Not to knock your efforts as you're clearly excited by your discovery, but this is, and has been, the very intention of projection methods in ZB for as many years as the tools have been available.
@Octo The point of the tutorial was not how to retopologize a face. There are a lot of these tutorials out there one more wouldn't help much!
@musashidan Sure I get it, it's just that most people use it just for projecting details and not low poly geo. Also I haven't seen this method anywhere before, so I though I could help some people...
