Currently pretty close to the end of the project I'm working on and we must have a good 20 T-pages for the environment with a big mix of surfaces / materials and I've been asked to balance the textures but not sure where to start on this. Having always worked in larger teams it's always been a job that has fallen onto other guys.
This time around it's fallen on me! But really not sure where to start with it and I guess what the "final goal" should really be.
Had a look around on the internet but found near to no discussion on the matter. Would be great to hear some tips / tricks / methods of what I should be looking out for.

Another thing: sort out textures that don't match the artstyle and quality of the rest.
