Hi guys,
I just posted this in agisoft's forum but I thought I should also post it here so I can get as much feedback as possible. Here it is:
I understand what depth filtering does in theory but in practice I am getting very confusing results
By default I always generate the dense cloud using High or Ultra High and Mild for depth filtering. This always gives me a good compromise between time and quality.
I am currently scanning a very complex bark tree with a lot of narrow and deep spaces but I also want as much detail as possible in the surface. I have been testing different dense cloud qualities and filters and as I said the results are confusing.
Very high + mild: very low surface quality, no holes
High + agressive: very high surface quality, many holes
High + disabled: high surface quality, one hole
Does someone has a clear idea about when to use this filtering and wich type??
Thank you!
