So I have trouble merging 2 normal maps together in Designer. I have 2 normal maps, 1 baked from high poly (no cage) and one detail normal map blended from multiple material instances. I'd need to combine the two in order to add the detail normals to the base, but dependless of mode the result from normal combine node looks just wrong. Is there something I've done wrong, or is this just something better done outside of Designer? I also tried baking a height map in order to use basic blending instead, but there were creases where there should have been edges, so it didn't work out.

Detail map. As you can see, it's very subtle, but it is there.
And here's the combined result. Somehow the detail get's emphasized a lot on certain parts.
