Zbrush Crash!

Hey! woke up today after a late night of sculpting only to discover that Zbrush crashes when I try to open the file..
The file is quite large (1.5GB) so I'm assuming that has something to do with it. I can open smaller files without a problem.
 The worst thing is that I dont even get an error message, when I try to open my file I just get the windows error sound and then it stops responding.

are you opening it in 4R7 64 bits version? if not, try that since it handles larger ztools than the regular 32 bits one.

else it seems like it would be about time to dig through the Quicksave folder in search of something salvageable.

Also,  always save a .ztl. I have been using ZB since v1.5 and have never, not even once , had a .ztl fail.

I am. The quicksaves are also sized 1.4 - 1.5gb, so the same thing happens. Thanks for the tip though
