Hey! I've been doing some looking around and I'm having trouble finding good solutions for real time hair in Unity. My studio is working on a VR project which involves avatars controlled by users wearing headsets. Their movements, then, are based on the real time tracking data we're getting from the users' headsets, and not based on baked animations from a rigged, skinned mesh. Many of the solutions I'm finding, though, involve running simulations and baking the animations in to canned animation cycles.
Anyone know of any good programs, plugins, scripts, or anything else that would provide good solutions for real time, physics influenced hair in Unity?
