That should be doable with a custom shader. We already have shaders that only show the tangent, normal and binormals for example. You can look into those.
Substance Designer also uses GLSL shader like Painter? I could ask one of our coder for that. But how can I connect the shader to an output, which shows my worldspace normal texture in the viewport? The shader should be no problem - the connection to substance designer for a coder having no clue about designer could be the biggest issue. Is there any API for that?
