As an Outsource Artists at YAGER you are
responsible for managing outsourced art assets going to and coming from
our outsourcing partners. To ensure the highest quality artwork you need
to have a keen eye for artistic quality and experience creating 3D game
art. You will be working on Dreadnought (www.playdreadnought.com),
an awesome and exciting AAA F2P project with an international team of
highly experienced and talented developers that are passionate about
their work.
Responsibilities
- Create assets from proxy phase to final shippable qualityUV mapping and baking
- Able to generate materials (using normal maps, diffuse maps, specular maps, plus PBR)
- Provide feedback to artists and help maintain a close cooperation between external and internal art teams
- Generate detailed documentation, video reference, and examples of
art asset production, procedures, and engine requirements to support the
external vendors
- Work closely with the art director and production team to determine
outsourcing needs, pipelines, budgets, and costs for art assets
Qualifications

2+ years of experience in professional game development
- A gifted eye for helping to develop and work within a designated
artistic style, and to execute according to the overall art direction
and project goals
- Experience with Unreal 4 tools and workflows including materials and content optimizations
- Fluency in 3DSMax, ZBrush or Mudbox and Photoshop
- Experience working with art pipelines for real-time 3D game engines
- Organizational skills and experience managing multiple 3D assets in various stages of completion
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Passionate about videogames

Thorough understanding of shading models both real time, and non real-time
- Previous experience working with external art development
- Experience working in Sub-D, Nurbs, or other high-end modeling formats
- Experience with asset and task tracking
- Quixel Suite
