Anyone know if it works like Adobe Suite where you can have multiple installs on different computers you use, as long as only one is in use at the time?
I dont know of this changed with the New subscription model, but before it was like this: Its limited to 2 installs. You are allowed To use only one at a time. For rendering over backburner you dont need a license and can Start as many Servers you want.
I don't know the specific details either, but i am using the same adobe 3dsmax license on both my laptop and my desktop. I'm not sure if it's possible to install it on more, but i do know it should work for 2 machines.
Licenses for subscription software are user based and require the authorized user to sign in using an Autodesk Account user name and password. This allows installation and access on multiple computers.

The perpetual licenses are as Hangs and Chris said.
