Answered: NDO settings is not showing

Hi ,

There is an issue with NDO, when you start ndo & made something in photoshop & click normal, it should show a menu which allowed you to adjust the size, depth contrast & etc. However, this is not the case with me, it did not show me the menu. I'm using photoshop CS 6 64 bit in windows 7

Hey, Rza!

A potential solution to this issue is to close the SUITE and Photoshop, then run Photoshop as an administrator (right-click on Photoshop, run as admin), then close Photoshop again. Run the SUITE, run NDO, and attempt to work again. Let me know if that clears this up.

I have tried unfortunately it still doesn't work, also I have to open quixel as an admin because if I don't the menu will pop behind photoshop.

Could you try using the Adobe Creative Cloud application to initiate a trial of Photoshop 2014 to see if this issue disappears in a new version?

I try to use the newest photoshop cause I can't find the 2014 version, however after I try to  set the quixel photoshop connection to the new photoshop the quixel menu pop behind the photoshop & when I try to force open ndo this happen. 


Even after following the instructions below still the same thing happen.

You can downgrade to 2014 relatively easily.

For Quixel SUITE to work with the new 2015.5 version, you'll need our pre-release patch located on the Quixel Live Support group.

well after installing the new patch it seems to work, however, the create new project button is greyed out, shown below the correct one from a vid & another what I got.

Try setting a path in the Save In dialog.
