Hey Polycount! I decided to start a new personal project and I want to share my progress with you.
I liked the concept and I decided recreate this station foyer. This environment is not big or very complicated, so I want to focus on lighting and recreating the mood of the concept. And it will be a warm-up before next a more ambitious and, as for
me, interesting idea for the environment, which I already have.
The goals for this project:
- Learn the modular modelling and texturing
- Improve the lighting skills
- To practice with Master Material and Vertex Painting
- And of course improve my skill

Still have some doubts about the ornaments, whether is it appropriate in style, and what is better, to make this ornament by geometry, what greatly increase polycount, but improves the appearance, or leave it as a plane with alpha channel.
Further I plan to start working on textures and light.
And my first simple Master Material
Concrete texture in SD, Masks in SP
Also maked marble texture.
Also tried Planar Reflection. I think It gives a good reflection, but it is very strong and than marble looks like a mirror.

Also fixed some old lighting bugs and added new.
