Anti-Drone Gun in progress

I'm working on a 3D model version of an anti-drone gun concept, to be used as part of an in-game gun animation.



So far I have the body of the gun blocked out, but I'm not sure how I can make the mesh cleaner. I'm also at a loss as to how to make the semi-circle cut out shape behind the front grip. Any feedback or mesh paint-overs to show optimal mesh flow would be welcome.
