How does one block a 3Dstudio max plugin with Firewall?

If the plugin tries to go to the web, that could be the issue. Some of them try to verify a license for example.

So, how would I block a plugin for doing that, because right now its preventing me from saving anything in Max.

Hit Windows+Q and type "Allow an app through Windows Firewall" and through that UI you can create custom settings to disallow things to access the internet.
