The first blade hand painted (supernatural)

Hey everyone,

This is my current project, i love supernatural so i decided to do the first blade with hand painted textures, i started with a sculpt in Zbrush and now i'm trying to finish it in photoshop. I'd really like some input on what i can do better to improve it ! Thanks a lot

This is a WIP so there is still a lot do do, but i'd like to know if i'm going in the right direction

It's getting there! The texture looks quite nice so far, maybe tone down the specularity of the leather wrap at the handle? Looking forward to the final piece!

really like the sculpt! i would push the values, highlights, and contrast overall a bit more.

Well i think it's finished, maybe i'll do some polish later if it's necessary !

Did you exclusively use photoshop to paint this? Didn't you paint on the 3D-mdel in any way?

@christopheduron i started to paint in blender for the the handle, but i got back to photoshop quickly because my UVs are flat anyway, plus i had the curvature map from the sculpt to help me, so it wasn't hard to paint without the 3d model for this one
