Toss the image into a Photoshop layer, place it where you want on your UV layout, and refresh 3DO. You can copy the layer within DDO (or Photoshop, really) to the other DDO documents to add gloss/specular and bumping, too.
Thanks for the reply! I actually understand that workflow but I was wondering if it cannot be done while painting in 3D ? ( Project/stamp along the normals ). Stamping while 3D painting is just so much more intuitive to me.
3D painting currently works with mask-type layers or color paint layers. Decal stamping is not included yet, but is definitely planned on our list of upcoming features.
