hello guys iam trying to make fur and hair for games , i used z brush for that (fibermesh) and it didnt work quite well iam taking this example thanks guys hope u help me
It really depends on your game, the engine and how much of the tech budget you have available. If you are a Maya user you might want to check out Geo To Maya Hair Maya2: http://www.thundercloud-studio.com/shops/gmh2/

Mark Dygert thanks for the reply but the point is i want to get the best look as i can thats all for exemple here in uncharted 4 can you pls explain how they got this
for the beard i know they have bee uesd fibermesh in zbrush but the how its come all together like that dont tell me they post eatch polygon individually for the hair or there is a tool for that ?? thanks for ur attention
For the beard they used cards, probably with object painting where you place a library of meshes on the surface of another by painting over the surface.
hicham , cool thanks for acknowledgement anyway good luck.
Throttlekitty, I think fantasymaster used gmh2 at least looks like it to me with the spiral hairs in his beast entry: http://polycount.com/discussion/165602/the-beast-the-cursed-queen/p1 Perhaps pm him, i don't know of anyone else that has used it, tbh if i had maya i would be all over this, the 2015 guide takes a bit of time to get going and if this plug shortens the process all together it is a very useful app to have. Would love a thread of it if anyone that has comes across this and wants to add their opinions.
