Polycount/texture map guideance?

I'm looking at creating a large passenger liner for a University game project; it will be a large exterior model (no interior) and I’m aiming for the photo-realism graphical style. It will act as the level and the player can navigate around. I would love some guidance on the recommended Poly-count and texture maps, it would be much appreciated! :)  This will be implemented in Unity 5.
