joining in on Allegorithmics Vehicle challenge - A road trip in 2116.
Might not be able to finish but I thought I'd give it a try.
Backstory: humankind is forced to live deep down inside earth because of the top side becoming toxic after wars and poisoning of the air, so humans travel trough these giant pipes to go where they wanted.
Currently some parts are high poly and some are still in the block out stage, but I'm not planning to do a high to low poly bake, so probably gonna get it to around 150k tri
as I preferred the outdoor lighting in marmoset toolbag and because of some design choices I kinda changed the concept and it's now a Whale class transport ship roaming the deserts of what remains of earth.
Started on the textures yesterday so still much to go, wish I had more time.
I really like the design and the quality is excellent! the only thing that I found confusing was all the details look like something you would see on a motorcycle or jet but then I saw the birds in the background and was like woah how big is this thing supposed to be! Maybe if it had little doors and windows on it as scale cues I would have read the scale better.
Very cool Jonas! After reading Ged's posts about the scale. And have to agree that once I was noted about the birds. I am now unsure how big this thing is
yeah the scale was hard to get right, hopefully the windows that are on the top and the smaller details like the wires etc would sell it, but I can understand if it doesn't look like that right away, also have doors etc and the Helicopter landing on the top, but yeah might be hard to see that in these images

Seems like I messed up the camera so looks really long, will be fixed.
is it low/mid poly?
It would be cool if the bottom fin was just barely scraping the ground and throwing up some dust!
