Will there be another Weekly Hard Surface Challenge?

Title, while I'm still going through the old ones and trying out some of the older challenges, I'm curious, will there ever be another one? I saw some people trying to revive a new thread some time ago but it's dead atm. Hope there will be another as it's all really helped me to further my hard surface skills but it's not as fun doing it alone

Why don't you redo the challenges, post a thread about it, and ask people to join in if they want. You don't need to make it anything official, just keep it casual.

Yea. I wanted some hard surface practice a few months ago so I just picked one of the challenges and posted it up in the thread. You have the benefit of seeing everyone elses work as well!

I wouldn't mind a hard surface subforum but, sadly, I doubt that would become a thing.

Shit, that's really disappointing. Just from what I gathered reading there it seemed to be a really dedicated community that had a lot of great resourced. Shame

From what I've seen on google, it seems that any forum even somewhat related hard surface modelling has pulled a cghub and is only available in archive form

Just combine the monthly challenges with a few optional hard surface challenges.

That would be nice, I only brought up the weekly challenge because it seemed a lot more casual than the monthly ones. I like ZacD's idea of combining them both the best though, it would allow for people of all skill levels to give each challenge a try.

I think the monthly is better, if it doesn't mean more complex objects.
I think as soon as more time investment is required,  you'll get fewer participants.

But yes, I do agree with ZacD and gfelton.
