I have no idea what's going on here. I'm assembling my scene in Maya, exporting as fbx, tried 2014-2015 and 2016 versions, and importing in Unreal with "import into level" option under File. The number of meshes while importing is always showing the same, but I'm getting differend messed up results. Somtimes the top right wall has the 2 correct materials applied, sometimes just one as seen below. Sometimes the top window is incorect version. As shown on 3rd picture the listed meshes on the left are all presented just by one mesh in the scene...Any suggestions?
