Hi guys!
I am currently studying in a video game program in Montreal to become an environment modeler/texture artist.
I am graduating this August, so I am currently working on my portfolio and I'm hoping I can get some feedback to help me make a good portfolio!
The project I am working on is a medieval city (really small city), I am using a modular workflow. I am using 3Dsmax and Zbrush for the modeling, Substance designer, Photoshop, Quixel suite and Bitmap2Material for texturing and The scene will be rendered in Unreal Engine 4
I am almost done with my "kits" (walls, roofs, columns, doors, etc.), I will post those soon.
As for now, I would like to get feedback on some PBR textures I made in Substance Designer. I started using Substance Designer 3 weeks ago, so any tips, tricks, critiques, etc. are more than welcome! (I simply did a quick render in marmoset over a plane to be able to show them properly)
Bricks
Roof Tiles
Thatch
Dirty window
Wood planks
Messt blocks
Thanks a lot!
PS: for anyone who wants to learn Substance designer, I highly recommend Hugo Beyer's medieval blocks tutorial, it really helped me understand the workflow!
