The Third Floor (TTF) is the world’s pre-eminent, Emmy Award winning visualization studio with offices in Los Angeles and London as well as on location with productions around the world (currently in Ireland, Australia and a few other cool locations). We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Senior Recruiter to join our team at our headquarters in beautiful Los Angeles! We’re looking for a Senior Recruiter who’s an all-in- one talent and networking guru, culture evangelist, and thought leader, and who has an appetite to roll their sleeves up to design and deploy recruitment programs that will continue to drive our talent efforts. Responsibilities:
- Strategically design and implement our full-cycle recruitment process.
- Source, recruit, and evaluate qualified talent utilizing social networking, job boards, referrals, and TTF's internal network to find the best talent in the industry.
- Identify and present qualified candidates to hiring managers.
- Handle multiple searches in a timely manner with professionalism and proactive communication.
- Conduct pre-screen phone calls, interviews, rate negotiations, and reference checks.
- Coordinate and conduct new-hire orientation and assist new employees with new-hire paperwork.
- Review resumes and reels with Supervisors for assessment of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements.
- Plan and attend industry recruiting, networking, and college campus events.
- Perform general administrative functions including employee file maintenance.
- Adapt quickly to constant change in hiring priorities (company needs move quickly!).
- Lead and mentor other recruitment team members.
- Work with the VP of HR to implement a new Applicant Tracking System and develop new recruitment worklflows.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Preferred minimum of 5 years of experience in full-cycle employment branding and recruitment.
- Prior experience in the film industry, gaming or other entertainment companies is preferred.
- Prior experience recruiting for pre and postvis studios is a big plus!
- Prior experience mentoring and leading other recruiting employees is strongly preferred but not required for the right candidate.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, FileMaker Pro (Yeah, we know- see the last point above), Google Calendar, Docs, Sheets and Drive.
- Highly organized, strong attention to detail and effective follow through.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Effective problem solver with ability to self-manage.
- A true passion for the filmmaking and gaming industry.
