Hi, Im new here, but its not my first post. Currently Im practicing with a biped character doing skinning, rigging, clothing and of course animation, I need lot of feedback to make awesome things. Thank for you time.
I'm guessing you used a side reference for the animation, but not a front ref. It looks pretty good from the side. But when viewed from the front I notice quite a few things you can improve.
General rule, if you don't animate the fingers just put them in a fist. Saves time, and doesn't look unnatural.
Typically only toddlers sway their head when they run. Keeping the head upright is key to making him look balanced as he's running.
The spine and torso are very stiff. Try a little more rotation there.
The hips typically lead the legs when running, and gyrate up and down as you push off. But you have neither motion.
When you run, your feet should be pretty close together. Here they are still about shoulder width apart.
Seems like a lot, but most of this can be fixed quickly with an animation layer.
