Mee Outfit Concepts
3 options outfit for Mee – the main character of WaterWorld. Which one appeal to you the best?
Setup in far future from now when present human ‘s civilization is lost, She is a small size mech pilot to dive into deep ocean to retrieve artifact from lost civilizations. The style I am aiming for is somewhere around Megaman Zero and Gurrent Laggan style!

Mee Final Costume Design
Costume designs for Mee and some color tone options for her final outfit. She will be having 2 seperated outfit in our cinematic shot. One casual clothes set that she will be wearing when she 's on land not piloting the mech, the other one is a "diving suit" that wrap around her neatly when she operating the Baam mech. We tried several differeny color themes for Mee suit but feel like the primary Red and Yellow stripe would be the most striking looking so far.

BARM Mech Final Concept
Final concept of BARM mech. After some iteration of color variation options, knowing that it will be diving into a contaminated sea of green water, we decided to give it a green-ish color tone. Somehow it make the tiny mech looks like a mecka frog !

OldMan Final Concept
Final concept of Mee‘s oldman, deciding on a color theme for him was a challenge, since the whole animation theme is very vivid and colorful, which might not be suitable for an badass oldman, thus we keep the color variations of him to bare minimum.

DaTrang Final Concepts
Final Concept of Datrang. Making a scary looking monsters within the colorful cheerful theme of Waterworld pose to be a difficult challenge. Since Datrang consumed contaminated green-ish sea water as it main food source, we decided to give its main color as dark green skin with golden scales.

BARM Town Concept
BARM town is Mee ‘s hometown village, it’s a small village floating on top of a coral rift. The sea water is mostly green due to contamination from alien meteors. Mee house is locate at the center of the town with a huge tree and alot of small plants since her grandpa is a botanist and engineer, he is trying to find a method so that human can plant using the contaminated sea water. Mee help her oldman to retrieve artifacts from deep sea to aid with the research as well as digging purified soil from Datrang nest that can be used for temporary agriculture.

The modular assets from our cinematic project - WaterWorld were mostly inspired by the two beautiful cities in Vietnam - Hanoi and Hoi An. Though all of them lie deep down under the sea and mostly were destroyed, they still remain the typical signs of the two cities such as boats, bus, traffic light, water tanks and many things
