Lunar Punch Studios is a small Indie Company, our current project that we are working on is a Horror Game known as One Night that has been successfully kickstarted and still being worked on.
What We Are Planning To Do
Our team is currently looking for volunteers to help with our next game that we plan to work on. What we are creating is best described as FTL:Redux. We will be recreating the classic game FTL: Faster Than Light in Unreal Engine 4 as a First-Person experience. Everything will be overhauled and worked on during this game. The Hangar will be explorable with a hangar for each ship class, meaning that the "Zultan" class ship will have one hangar, but the player can swap between the variations. Along with this, many of the events such as dealing with the giant alien spiders, calming down riots, helping with a research experiment, will all be fully fleshed out interactable events. This means you will be able to choose what crew or drones go in to deal with the event, and you can choose to let the game decide the outcome, or you take control of that individual/squad to make sure causalities are kept to a minimum.
Current Positions
Environmental 3D Artists: In charge of creating assets for creating areas in game such as space stations, derelict ships, trading outposts, etc.
Character Artists: In charge of creating the many actor models that will be used. This includes basic human characters (male and female of each race), as well as creating the models for the alien races (Mantis, Rock/Crystal Men, Engi, Zoltan, Lanus)
General 3D Artists: Able to work in any field that needs help (i.e. helping "John" finish the Male Zoltan model by creating the clothes while he finishes the head model)
Weapon/Equipment Artists: [Self Explanatory] In charge of creating many of the weapons and equipment most of the actors will be using (Ballistic and Laser based weapons and armor). Will also work with Character Artists now and then to create weapons and equipment that is suited towards a race of aliens (i.e. armor for Mantis, Jet Hammer for Rock/Crystal Men)
Ship Designers: In charge of creating the ships themselves. You will be creating both a full version (completely designed hull and interior) and the top down view (will be in 2D) of the ships.
Musical Artist: In charge of creating background music for the player to listen to when either battling, at a trade outpost, fighting giant alien spiders, and a for when the player is just sitting in space looking over their menus. Can also work on creating sound effects for ship/character weapons, etc.
