Not sure where else to put this since I am not showcasing my 3D work.
https://www.instagram.com/loakers/Rather, I'm showcasing 'photographs' I took using the in game photo-mode which you can enable inside Uncharted 4. This is particularly interesting because I'm actually very interested in the documentation and journalism of in-game worlds, spaces and environments - preservation or fleeting content for future audiences / galleries / museums.
First off I must credit Naughty Dog for such an incredibly beautiful product - their team have done what I consider to be the best job possible, I know no rival to Uncharted 4 currently on the market, its visuals seem unrivaled. (correct me if I am wrong please).
The important part of the discussion for me is that the effort was made by Naughty Dog to include this basic feature to begin with. This is not merely a screenshot function and further, its combatting a restriction typically faced by console game players who don't have access to develope console commands.
The Photo mode, which can be enabled inside the in-game pause menu, once initiated, will pause the game, and allow me to control certain variables such as the camera (obviously), framing, and filters.
Combined with a sense of adventure and a willingness to throw myself off cliffs and buildings repeatedly, I was able to use photo-mode to capture the sheer scale, beauty, texture and colour of the Uncharted 4 world.
Let me know your thoughts on the discussion and what you think (or don't think) of the photo's.
P.S. There are larger versions available, but, Instagram sucks.

I'll move this from General Discussion to 3D Art Showcase, since it really is about 3D art, even if you didn't make the 3d part. Keep going with this!
Yeah instagram automatically made every image smaller. Working on an alternative now. Thanks for the tips
