Hello beautiful community of Polycount!
I've been studying 3D Art in the last year and begun getting involved with the community.
I always love getting to know people who have the same passion as me but living in Greece (a place where 3D Artists are not that common) makes it hard to meet people and talk about art.
I assume many of you enjoy meeting new people with same interests as them like I do, therefore I made this topic.
I am not talking about something big, just add each other for casual talks, quick questions about art and making your feed a bit more colorful.
While all this may sound cheesy, I do hope we get to know each other and meet people with the same passion.
Here's
me!
Feel free to comment your profile link and maybe a few words about you.
Cheers!

While I get where you're coming from, I was going for a less professional and more social aspect. In LinkedIn there's no IMing, people aren't as active on FB and you can really get to know who they are and engange in conversations. For example I wanna be able to say "I know Candystripes05, he likes bacon and racing, and he also does 3D art as me" and not "I have a guy in my connections that does 3D Art", I know it comes off super creepy but I hope you get what I mean :P
That being send I will send you a request on LinkedIn ^^
I much prefer seeing art on my feed rather than real life drama so if you post art often, that's very welcome!
: )
I post art update pretty often. I also post stuff about ballroom dancing and some gaming as well.

I totally get what you mean but the reason I made the thread is that I meeting people who are into the same thing as me. I am trying to talk to everyone I add even if it's just smalltalk. I really appreciate when I meet new people so I didn't mean just to add people and let them sit on the friendlist :P

There is the option for people to "follow" your facebook if you set it up so they can see your public posts. That way you don't have to be friends with everyone you don't know and are just friends with those you care about while still allowing your followers to see all your public posts.
They can see what your up too but you dont have to be bothered by your facebook wall getting filled with posts of people you dont know.
