You may see an email saying you've been promoted. This is part of the old Ranks system.
The rank should appear next to your name, above each post.
You get promoted to new ranks based on post count. Vertex, Line, Triangle, Polygon, etc. This was a neat little feature on the old forum.
It's been re-enabled but it's not appearing properly yet. We're working out the last few kinks, you should see them appear in the next few days. Solved!
If your rank is missing: edit your ad-blocking plugin to whitelist the Polycount domain, then log out of the Forum and log back in. It should appear then.

Yeah I took it directly from the first post in that thread. Changes are likely to have been made but most of the list seems to be correct at least.
It is possible to get an accurate breakdown from the system of how many posts are required for each rank?
I think I know. For example if you look at mine or Bartalons profile for example. Next to our name we have a rank and another rank.
Pyrzern appears to be missing this second rank.
Edit: Also check a bunch more profiles and so far there is a 100% chance that if you only have 1 rank on your profile then it does not show up on the forum. Also if you have too 100% of the time the rank appears on their posts.
I guess my level means I'm smarter with modeling and texturing.
Edit, the post is fine
can we have the location back while we're at it? that made sense to know IMO.
it says I'v been promoted to line
We'll look into the CSS for the rank text, agreed it's a bit too bold. Not sure about changing the location though, that's not as easy as a CSS override.
edit: how am I nothing
I guess it's appropriate, all things considered
All good here. Could it be a missing field/variable from a user account? Check the tables and see what people have and where to pinpoint what's going on, the dual ranks seems to be a point in the right direction. (It could be from importing people over from the legacy pc onto the new site. )
Also tried adding both member groups to @FanSub 's profile, also no go.
Guess we'll have to wait for help from Vanilla support.
You're not worthy.
