Responsibilities
- Work with artists, designers, programmers and animators creating outstanding visual effects for all aspects of a triple-A game
- Work with artists and technical artists to create shaders
- Work with programmers to help develop new FX systems and tools.
- Help drive state-of-the-art visual effects tools & techniques
- Optimize FX to hit the performance requirements of modern gaming systems.
Job Requirements
- Proficient in Photoshop
- Unreal visual and particle effects experience preferred.
- Able to effectively give and respond to feedback.
- Able to work in fast-moving environment in both prototype and production capacities.
- Avid gamer, passionate about making games.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience as an effects artist.
