Hi all!
Finally getting around to posting this. Been messing with it for ages now in my spare time.
Started off fairly simple. I got to this point and thought it was finished. I have since been unwrapping it and even began to texture it in Substance Painter then saw there was loads of little things I could add to give it a bit more character.
Here is where I'm at currently. Apologies for the crummy viewport render in opposition to the nice renders above. As I said I thought the model was in final stages, so beauty rendered it. So I guess here is the WIP viewport capture for now =P. Any C&C would be gratefully received!

Will you be adding in metal plating to the main hull? I feel that for a junker, the model is far too clean. The body would be bolted together with lots of different shapes and types of metal.
Would the internals stick out that far? It could easily get caught on something when flying. Are you going to be adding a protective casing for them?
Keen to see where you take this though
I'm going to be adding metal plating and panels, but in the texture. Using Substance Painter for the whole thing so won't be a problem.
As for the things sticking out on the side, I like the idea of it being just botched together and having these mysterious, possibly important, pieces of machinery stuck on the side.
Here's a snap shot of it in Substance Painter at the moment, getting base colours down at the moment =D
I am pretty much finished with the biggest bulk of the texturing now!! Woooo!
Next up is adding all the nice little details. Much like the welding and bolts that are on the main engine body at the moment, then also add details to the radio and also add some bits of dirt and grunge in places where needed. But that is future me's task.
