I've been working on some realtime models of
medieval/fantasy houses. Gonna post here my results and some breakdowns
as I go. Hope you will find something usefull here. Cheers!
Here's a small simple fantasy house i made for fun and sale recently. Hope you like it!
I agree. The texture makes it look really nice there. Any chance you will expand this into a small village ? 2-3 different looking houses, with windmill or lumberyard, blacksmith and a well ? That would be really dope.

Thanks, man! In fact, this is actually what I'm gonna do. Will post my progress here as I go.
You use plain photoshop for your textures? for now - yes. This is all made using photoshop with some ndo magic. From now on i think ill start using substance designer where it is possible.
Very impressive the ornamental designs really make a difference especially on the first house.
To be honest, i didn't design them. i found some ornaments with flowers on the internet, picked the ones that suited the most and used them to create normal maps.
Loving these! The Normals really turned out very well. Are these houses part of a game? Or just for practice?
Thanks, Aquila! Well, the general idea behind all this was creating a pack of assets for sale. And ofcourse it is a good practice and a way to improve skills. I'm also planning to study substance designer to create textures for new houses.
Would love to see a fully walkable Village in UE4 Where the Player can find awesome things ^^
Thanks a lot, Gazu. In fact, i've already imported that in unreal and made a few shots. Didn't have time to create a full scene and decided to create more assets before taking it further. Here are the those simple shots if u're interested

Nothing wrong with that! If anything using real designs is more authentic. I'm interested in your normal maps, was there some sculpting plus an overlayed normal generated from the albedo or did you use another technique? You probably used nDo for the ornametal planks right? Also FYI your artstation link in your sig is broken
Those shots are
awesome! I am really in love with your work tbh, thats some
lovely foliage... looks nice. I think it needs some live though -
farm equipment and maybe small gardens.

Thanks for pointing that out! Fixed it. It's a link to an account I created to help me sale things. Not yet working well though Here's the link to my portfolio: https://www.artstation.com/artist/polydjent It's empty ATM as I'am planning on rebuilding it, preparing better presentations, polishing older works, etc.

Thanks for the breakdown! i hope u are still working on this, id really like to see the progression. one more question: ur grass looks so dense yet really thin... mid showing the single clusters on their own?
Hey guys! I know it's been a while since the last update. Had a lot of freelance work to do, so I got really tired and gave up all this. However, i made a bunch of renders to test new marmoset GI. Here they are.

And of course, really nice wireframe.
