anyway to paste layers from one project to another?

I have a low poly that I needed to fix but I want to keep all the painting/layer work from the last version. Anyway to copy/paste the layers over? I tried selecting them and copying than loading a new project but looks like you cant paste across projects.

figured it out! incase anyone else was wondering, you can go to edit project and change the base mesh from there so no need to copy over

You can't copy/paste across projects, but you can save your layer stack as a Smart Material and then load it into an other project.
