Really liked the design of this character, so many angles and mass. Probably should have kicked the door or pushed it open like Aragon from LotR, maybe next time.  Been having more fun assembling shots and playing with cameras than fully polishing the animation.

Good stuff, Kiel! How did you go about animating these? Was the grey guy straight forward, then the big dude a walk cycle with a head layer?

Thanks guys, glad you like it.  Nah, nothing fancy, grey guy is raw mocap data, War is fitted mocap with hand keyed accessories, adjustment, eye line, ect.  Scene extras where hand keyed.

Isn't this War from the Darksiders game series? Are Nordic Games (or whoever owns the rights now) cool with you selling the character?

Yea, it's a fan art from Darksiders, not the actual mesh   I haven't received a take down noticed yet, so fingers crossed : )

So much friggin power and dominance in that walk!!!!! And that little gesture on his face that says "scram" to the cowering person in front of him is just so subtle but sells the image even more!! Loving it
