I really like those chrome illustrations, so I got my inspiration from it.
Also wanted to try a new technique and make something different from my other skins.

I started painting this image to be used as a base for the material.
In Zbrush, I made a matcap using that image, projected the material into the weapon model as polypaint, and then converted it in a texture map.
Retouching/ cleaning the texture on 3DCoat
I'm still deciding if I should add a new material or make it all chrome (except the weapon handle).
This is how it looks in game so far.
