Hey guys, it´s my first time posting here. I´m currently working on a character based on Simon Stalenhags vagabonds. It was more of a study thing to get into Substance Designer and Painter, but i would really appreciate feedback, tips and critique.  As a Workflow, i used zbrush to sculpt the jackets, skull and shoes and the boarhead , retopoligized them in 3ds Max and painted in Substance Painter/ Designer. The metal parts were done in 3ds Max.

Good choice of concept, it's a really interesting character, definitely throw some pictures in this thread so people can see him without having to go through another link. One thing I noticed was the detail in the neck, you put effort into the wires/servos etc. in the legs but the neck is just a series of cylinders. Seeing as the face is usually a focal point I think more geometric detail for the neck would have been a good idea. The poly distribution needs work - on the legs I think there's too many for so little a change in surface direction, while on the fur there's too little to support the silhouette.

One thing that bugged me about this is that there should be a very defined elbow. Especially for a robot because its a lot less organic. Your arm just looks like a noodle : P
