Okay, So I decided to start another weapon skin, the MP9.
I'm not sure if I'll have it completed in time. These are my references;



And below is what I have started;

Can someone please let me know what the think of it? comments??
I'll probably be up all night tomorrow, trying to get this finished.

Oooooo Nice! I really like it. Feels very 80s. I don't know if there's anything I would change... Maybe try to figure out something for the stock?

Thank you for the comment  Yea I plan to do something to the stock and magazine. I hope to get the whole thing finished by tonight.

So I've been at it all day & night its now 3 am, But I'm determined to get it finished.
 I think what takes the longest time is working out where things will go.
I have an idea, so I end up making that part..  then I decide I don't like it, then change it again. never ending process..
Like the first things I make usually get changed, like the handle..
anyway this is what I'm up to at the moment.



Hopefully the next time I post, It will be finished, Let me know what you guys think please

Okay, so I didn't end up finishing it yet, I spent all day and most of the night working on it again. I should have it finished tomorrow now that I only have a few parts to do. Here's where I'm at with it;

As you can see I've done the magazine, redone the colourful part on the barrel, did the Iron sights & the top of the gun between the rail mounts.


I've also done the underneath of the gun..


I've also given some of the areas a 'brushed steel' look to add more character in the darker spots and a slightly rustic metal finish in the lighter parts of the steel, like the iron sights.   I will post more tomorrow.

The designs and how they fade are really nice.  The colors all seem to work other than maybe the white.  The trigger guard/trigger/front grip all feel a little out of place with the white.  otherwise, pretty solid FP viewing gun!

Thanks for the constructive feed back, I used white to make the colours stand out a bit more,  I'll have a play around with that today maybe make it a little less bright to see how it looks or make it that turquoise colour.  I just didn't want the gun looking too dark. Anyway thanks again

So I changed the Trigger, and Trigger guard..  I'm not sure if I prefer it though. Let me know what you think..

Here I changed all the parts that were mostly white. Again, I'm still not sure about.

Finally it's finished! All I have to do now is the wear maps.

Also the only program I used was Photoshop.

This Weapon Finish Contest has been a fun project, though I was uncertain if I would have had this finished in time. This took a very, very long time to make. Thanks to Valve & Polycount and Good luck to everybody who entered!

lol, Well there's no telling who's skin they will choose. What we may think looks good to us might not to them, plus how well it fits their criteria and stuff. I seen yours btw, it looks good

I think it needs more rest areas for the eye. Other then that it turned out pretty cool.

Thanks, yea it's a busy design lol. If I leave areas less busy they look out of place with the rest of the gun. Thanks for advice
