The second screenshot is an example of how I did cylindrical distortion of the text. I took an ordinary cylinder Maya, unfolded UV and put text and then render without any special settings and positioned the text distorted cylinder for subsequent projection on a texture in Mari. All in order to reproduce the energyСylinder inside the upper horizontal part for fixing the realism added some shadows on the rectangular holes through which, in fact, one can see my energyСylinder.
